Searching For The Impossible: The Flying Project at the Moonens Foundation in Brussels

Searching For The Impossible: The Flying Project is a film and art installation by Joel Tauber that contemplates the relationships between flight and metaphysics. It chronicles Tauber’s numerous failed attempts to fly before he achieves success: Tauber flies 150 feet over the desert for an hour and a half in a musical flying machine that he constructs. The art installation consists (in its most complete form) of a 32-minute film, a series of photographs, and the musical flying machine / sculpture.

My film, “Searching For The Impossible: The Flying Project“, is on view through January 12 (by appointment) at the Moonens Foundation in Brussels. It’s part of the show, curated by Odie Cash / Platform 102, “There Is Always An Alternative.”
